    Bible/Koran 2 years ago

I read all the literature on religion I can. I study it as a hobby. Both the Bible and the Koran are very interesting, and they both paint women in the most ugly view.

both of them beautiful, mysterious, compelling books of scripture.

My partner is Islamic and I'm (sorta) Christian... 3 years ago

Sheez, I think I hooked up with him just because he follows a religion. I’m so… how you say… apathetic?

I attend my gran’s church every now and again, which has folks jumping in aisles and no less than an hour of singing. I grew up in a Catholic church though, which is so much more subdued (understatement). Still trying to figure out how to be comfortable with the difference.

My kids are growing up knowing both religions but are earmarked Islamic… they really shouldn’t follow my poor example. I’m a dirty, dirty Christian. Hmmm, there’s the Catholic guilt surfacing again.

At least I have respect for the structure, ethics and morality that religion can provide.

The big read 3 years ago

As a committed atheist, I want to know what makes religion tick. I reckon that there’s a lot of wisdom in each of these – just not sure which to read first.
