I want a 17” powerbook
PolinaK is clarifying her goals
Worth doing!
Had 17” powerbook for years, what an awesome machine, was way ahead of it’s time when it first came out, I just love it. But had to sell it now that it’s time to upgrade and move on, bye bye powerbook.
Worth doing!
My iBook got to the point where I couldn’t use it to surf the net anymore, so I bought a MacBook last fall. I absolutely love it…it’s the right size, haven’t had any troubles with Leopard, and the wireless function is potentially addictive.
shimniok is gonna leave for FL to achieve a goal
Worth doing!
I have been a Mac laptop users for several years. They aren’t necessarily the most reliable laptops on the planet, but Mac OS X makes it worth it. I’ve found it easy to create videos, store my music, create blog entries on several blogs, and a jazillion other things. But I’ve been a Mac guy since ‘88. Once you get used to the interface, I think it’ll prove to be more intuitive and allow you to achieve what you want more quickly.
Worth doing!
Well, not exactly…I got a MacBook. When I set this goal, MacBooks didn’t exist, hahaha. DEFINITELY worth doing.

Fredrik S asks,
“I'm planning on buying one for christmas. Will it be upgraded by then, or should I wait into year 2006 just to get a more up to date model? It's specs aren't what it used to be when it first came out, imo.”
