stop shopping so much

I am trying, well I need to save money. I am BROKE. Living paycheck to paycheck. It should not be this way. The economy sucks and no raises this year. But I am a college graduate, a smart young woman. Why then, why can I not stop shopping so much? I bought shoes – freakin shoes – on my lunch break today. Yes, at lunch I not only bought lunch, but also shoes. Now mind you I realy like them, they were half off, and they magically appeared in front of me singing “TaaaaaahDaaaaaahhh” – but I need to save money. I need to pay my bills on time. I need to stop shopping so much!!!

I’ve started listening to podcasts from Dave Ramsey, and Crown Ministries. It’s all about being debt free and financial independent. I have to change my thinking about shopping and spending money for the sake of my family’s future!

My downfall is the internet and the catalogs that come in the mail… I need to focus on other things (like work for instance!).

never ever going to happen. and i guess i’m just in the mood to really give up on things tonight..but i just went shopping again..and there’s no stopping me, really. i spend way too much money..but i don’t care. so i’m giving up on this for now. maybe i’ll give it another go when i completely run out of money..we’ll see.

so much for this…i just went out and bought a $120 Coach purse. my mom’s gonna kill me if i don’t stop spending money like this… :-/

Kind of by default. I’m pretty much out of money.

I need to stop. I am running out of room for all this stuff! my closets are jammed, my cupboards are overflowing, even my medicine cabinent has taken over my bathroom counter. I don’t know why i love shopping so much. I have a lot of stuff i don’t even use.
