This is to include work and personal e-mail. It’ll be a good task for when I want to waste time at work.

Cleaning your email is like cleaning your dining room or your car; the things are just meant to be getting dirty in time no matter you tried to prevent it or delay it. Email must get dirty with spam and/or old emails which you don’t need any more or from people you rarely contact.
Cleaning your email in regular bases is the full control, but people like me “have to get strangers comments about his dirty car to realize … Oh it’s time to visit the car services” should make cleaning there emails as goals to achieve. Honestly I was looking for small goals in life to achieve so I can feel that I’m in control about my life. I think I did it …and it works fine.
I just started to make folders then visiting my filters every time I open my email to create new filter.
I know it’s not the biggest achievement in life …but I think it’s the good start to control the dirtness in your life.
