I’ll take the 401 (Hwy) over mountain sides and the sweet faces of deer any day of the week and in all sorts of weather.

Ever since I moved to BC I’ve been freaked out by the very idea of hitting an animal with my car. (I’m thinking that those deer crossing signs ‘Deer Cross Here’ ought to be more convincing to the deer. They seem to cross where they want to :))

Recently I realized that, gradually over the years, I’ve been driving less and less. It’s part of what has contributed to myself shrinking into littleness. 4 years ago
