    ATC's!  — 5 months ago

My love of this little artform has survived the harrowing brush with the insane world of ‘swapping’ (on places like swapbot.com)... I learned to dislike the swapping thang, but I have still clung to my love of the ATC. What a fun thing!

I taught it to the kids I was watching last year, and this year they’ve infected all thier schoolmates with the ATC bug- and their school would like to do a ‘guest artist’ program, where they are taught to do projects by local artists- starting with ATC’s! (laughs) Very cool!

Still Scrapbooking  — 9 months ago

I’ve really been focusing my time on scrapbooking but I have not given up on this goal.

Not Lately  — 11 months ago

Have not done any ATCs lately but I have completed 5 scrapbook pages in the past month so I’ll give myself some credit there.

ATC Cards... ROCK.  — 11 months ago

Okay, so it’s been a while since my goal was to learn how to make ATC’s… but MAN am I hooked now! I’m just totally overtaken by the concept of a tiny little work of art on a tiny little card (2.5” by 3.5”) that is traditionally only traded or given, instead of sold. I love it… totally addicted! Yay!

Moving Along  — 1 year ago

I recently made two scrapbooks pages about my grandson and his parents. They were a “Max and Mommy” and “Max and Daddy” theme. So then I took 3 small photos and made ATC bookmarks for all of them,,,:-)

And Yet Another  — 1 year ago

I made a scrapbook page of a day at the beach that I spent with a friend. Then I used the same paper and embellishments to make an ATC for her. She really seemed to like it but I forgot to take a picture before I gave it away.

I made 6 of them last night...  — 1 year ago

    Worth doing!

Another One  — 1 year ago

Yes, I have managed to give away one more ATC. I made it specifically for a friend of mine who is a real cat lover. She liked it very much,,,:-)

    Worth doing!

It’s been a while since I’ve drawn any faces (realistically). This one took a number of times before I was happy (enough) with it. Still I’m proud of this one. HopefullyI’ll be getting some more practice with realism soon.

    Worth doing!

Two more ATC cards yesterday. That’s 6 in three days which if I can keep it up will achieve this goal. I think that creating two at a time really helps with this. And even more so does my wife allowing me time to work on them, Thank you!

These two I’m really proud of they are a pair of working guillotines. Yes, you can actually make the blade fall. Really cool. Yay!
