spend time with my son

Well his girl friend has moved in so she can attend a nearby college. Though it was by my invitation I am not sure how I feel about it. She is bright, outgoing, hardworking and easy to get along with. We spend a lot more time at home around the kitchen table. Its nice to have a house full again with my college age nephew around as well. Did I mention my son cleaned gutters chopped down dead trees and says he will do more just put it on the list.

I do spend time with my son (I’m a single mother for pete’s sake), but I want more time to do the fun things with him, like go bike riding at the beach, take him for hikes, camping, swimming, fishing, board game playing. I don’t get enough time to do those kinds of things with him, and it’s really frustrating, for the both of us. I can’t wait until I am done with school this summer, so we can spend to time together.
