How I did it: I think being happy and successful cannot always be measured by how much money you make or by the material objects you have. I have found my place in life. My calling is to be a mother. I might not be making a difference in the world but my son might. I have a wonderful husband, a beautiful healthy baby boy and a great extended family. We might not have a lot of money but we can pay our bills and take care of our son. To me that is enough. I would much rather stay home and watch him (and hopefully ones to follow) grow, than to be working all day without them. I believe being successful is being happy with your life and what you are doing in it. Mine is being a mother and wife and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Lessons & tips: The best advice I think I could give to anyone is to find happiness and peace within yourself. If you have big dreams follow them. But the litte ones can make you just as happy if you let them.

this is what i want to be
i have no idea what i want to pursue as a career anymore
and i have only a vague idea of where i want to be 10 years from now
or even 1 year from now.
im just taking things as they come.
so i can simply be successful and happy.
I want to be happy must of all, then success can follow. I have given up so much for the sake of being married and starting a family. I am very unhappy right now because my husband of 11 years does not value me as his equal. he doesn’t want me to work, or hardly leave the house. I haven’t been successful in my life because I have been trying to please him, he isn’t happy unless I am friendless and jobless. I am thinking about divorcing him because I can’t take it anymore.I am depressed all the time, but he prefers my unhappiness for his own happiness. Therapy is out, because he believes nothing is wrong with how he thinks.

I quit my tedious, boring 9 to 5 to go work for a smaller firm. I am so glad I made this move. I am finally headed in the right direction for my career.
I just want to be happy in my life and to be able to live comfortablly.
