I am usually really confident in my music while I am at home. I’ve already said to myself that I would like to become a musician as a career. I have gone through rejection and acceptance through out my child hood & a lot of my teen years. This year , I haven’t experienced much of that. I’ve been comfortably living in my apartment, where there is no chance of me being rejected from anything. I am in my own world Yet I believe i make great music … But im too afraid to perform it. I am afraid of having to defend my style of music to get where I want, over all afraid of being rejected. One major but not major incident is that I happen to be transgendered. It makes me feel like I don’t have an equal opportunity to be at the best of where I can be. Im just afraid of being laughed at or not taken seriously. People tell me I am good at it all the time , but its all my recorded projects and I can’t even record in front of most people. I am just venting ! This is really frustrating , & i just can’t get over my negative thoughts.However… This is going to be my long term goal , My MAIN Goal …Thanks for reading ♡.
How to be a musician
How I did it: First you need to have confidence in what you're doing and don't give up.Always believe that you're capable of becoming a good musician.As for me, I didn't have anybody to really practice together or neither an steady band. Alone can be very harsh and frustrating, but as long as you keep doing what you like, it can take years, but one day you'll become a good musician.

I want to learn piano and to be a jazz singer. If there was no such thing as music, i would be so depressed, it makes everything better. It is so beautiful, so sad, so happy, so calming, so everything. I am 14 and i love jazz music, some people think I’m werid and say it’s for 40 year olds but w.e I’m different. Is there anything wrong with that? I want to be a singer a jazz singer, My uncle is a singer, and my other uncle is a drummer, My aunt is also a singer, a country singer. So i have music in my jeens.
I know it’s alot of work, but when someone wants something this bad they do anything, Music makes me melt, and i don’t know the reaction i would get if i could have a jazz voice. It’s just so beautiful.

I’ve been writing songs, playing guitar and putting together fuzzy electronic stuff for a while now but I still find it difficult to call myself a musician… do you reckon people have to play professionally or do you have another criteria you have reach before you can be confident to call your self a musician?

Been playing guitar too long. It’s time to get it together & play some shows. I’ve got my record done, now I need to market & promote it.
You know, i’ve been around the music world for about a year now, and i still havent started my career. I know what I have to do, i just need some supporters and some time…I’m starting soon. I’m determined and committed…when my parents let me.
This is cleaning time! Wow, how crazy and self-centered do you people think I am? No wonder I was deeply depressed: I wanted to be a musician, a painter, a writer, read all the books in my library… The fact is, for all I know (again!) I am a musician! If I play well or not, it’s another matter. Sure, I have to sort out my priorities! Changing “being a painter” by “painting more”, “being a musician” by “finishing my music courses”, “being a writer” by “writing books because it’s fun to do it”. It’s all part of the biggest achievement of all: that I am not what I do, that I accept myself as an artist in the making and that will always be that way. That the thing we do are worth more than any recognition we can get from the world – art is worth doing because it’s great and that’s all.
I love everything I do, that’s enough for me.
i am 16 years old, ive always been a BIG fan of music. i found out that i could sing when i was about 6 yrs old and i have been singing ever since. im learning how to play guitar. I want to be a country musician because country really is my life. What they sing about and what i sing about in my songs can relate to anyone else. i want to move to Nashville so i can try to make it come true and i want it bad! Music is what i live for i live and breath it. Without it i would probly not survive. I like seeing people relate to my songs it makes me feel good and i know that i can make a differnce in peoples lives. i sing kareoke every saturday and i love it i love performing!
