build a house in the woods

had fun the other day looking at some prefabs and telling the guy in the office that i had a sort of pipe dream. looking at something made it feel more real…although i think the house is a long way off!

I don’t know when I’m actually going to do this, but it’s fun planning. Right now I’m up to having a couple of modules of my house and a big barn. I’ve seen some cool treehouses like geodesic balls up in trees; now that would be cool. It’s great to get the cheers; keeps it in the front of my mind. Saw a house for sale in the woods recently I’ll be recommending to some friends who are looking; maybe I can visit them if they get it. I already live in a house close to the woods; but it’s not the same thing.

I found a great site at fabprefab.com which has modern prefabricated housing. I want to bring something somewhat bigger than a camper into the woods and just live there. Don’t know when or how though. I also want a shed to party in and there to be water nearby… Hmmm.
