Visit Egypt

this is my life’s dream.
i know people are like, i want to go to Cancun, Paris, and what not, but i am a more adventeruous person and i think going to egypt, i would have the time of my life!!!

I have always wanted to go to Eqypt, so when i have a life of my own i will!

Nice country but bad timing. The Sphix was scraffolded for some renovation work.

spent a few days in egypt…
and it was just disappointing.

the pyramids are amazing,
and so is the cairo museum,
and the nile is beautiful,
but the city is GROSS.

there is trash EVERYWHERE,
the pollution is horrible,
everything is dirty,
and the water is tainted.

i had to brush my teeth with bottled water!

and the people?
most of them, are only nice cause they want your money!
you can’t go anywhere without 30 people asking you to buy something,
and when you do they rip you off.

and the airport is shitty,
the employees are rude and slow,
and every person that touches your luggage wants a tip.

i’m glad i got the experience of going but i will never go again.
its sooo not worth it.

cairo could be such a pretty place if they cleaned it up…

p.s. they have huge ass ants that will bite your face while you sleep and make you look like you’ve been beaten…. :/

TRAVEL TO EGYPT AND SEE/TOUR THE RUINS (NOT VERY ORIGINAL, BUT A DREAM NONE-THE-LESS)

But I may be going to Egypt this year. ^^ Even just thinking about it gets me all excited! (I’ve always had something of a fascination that borders on obsession with the place and have been dying to go there since… God, it’s been almost ten years)

Well like I said, it’s not definite, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

I want to leanr more about Egyptian life, gods and goddesses, mummification, rulers, pyramids just the history of it all. I am amazed by the Pyramids and have always been interested in Gods and Goddesses and thingsl ike that I think it would be a great adventure!

I saw a little bit of the rest of Egypt, but I love Cairo! The people, the culture, the museums. I hope to go back soon.

I was there for business, so I got to spend a lot of time with the locals and they gave me a lot of advice. If you’re going on a tour of Egypt, do spend a few extra days in Cairo and walk around exploring things by yourself (you can ask your hotel to hire a driver for the day; much cheaper than using taxis).
