How to stand my ground by riotpirate

"Amazing, life changing...I have my inner goddess back...Roar!"

How I did it: Self confidence, and realizing that you are treated the way you allow people to treat you.  By standing your ground you prove to not only yourself but other people that you have confidence in all that you do.  It takes time, and patience with yourself.  Going through a divorce made me realize that I can either lie down and take things and be a victim or I can stand and fight!

Lessons & tips: Patience, understand, and belief in yourself.

Resources: Counseling sessions, lots and lots of intense inner work.  Still trying to find my peace but now I am closer than ever!

    Graduation 9 months ago

    I should graduate with 2 degrees (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science) in about a year. I do NOT want to walk at graduation. I REFUSE to let anyone convince me to do otherwise. I don’t know those people, I can’t afford the cap/gown/invites/tickets/etc, and I don’t CARE! I just want my degrees to hang on the wall. That’s it! So I will NOT walk. I won’t.
