get the Pittcon abstract in

The abstract has been submitted, and I will be told by November if it has been accepted.

It is an online submission, and I’m more or less happy with what went in there, but I don’t recall pressing the submit button. I still wanted to discuss it with my boss, and he might have had changes to suggest.

I’m making progress with the writing, but it won’t be finished today.

I hope to get somebody to read through it tomorrow.

What also makes this difficult is that it is not at all clear if there will be money to go to Pittcon, which will be held in Chicago next year.

Pittcon is an annual analytical chemisty conference, with a focus on instrumentation. We have an instrument we need to tell the world about, and I think a good way of doing this would be to attend Pittcon and present a poster. The conference witll be in March next year, but the deadline for the submission of abstracts is 15 August.

I’m a bit scared and there’s a lot of decsions to make and the submission process is quite complicated, so I’ll probably tend to procrastinate on this, so I’m making this a goal.
