Just one of my favorite all time books, The second Coupland book I ever picked up

Many years ago I interviewed with MS and the whole interview process was not to my liking. When they asked if I wanted to
visit Redmond and meet some of the staff, I decided to pass on their offer (turn them down – silly English idioms).
Between spurning MS and turning down a offer from cisco Systems I’ve successfully (what is success, really?) passed up several lifetimes worth of income from stock options. Gee, aren’t I smart.

If you spent time in the IT sector at the time the novel is set, you need to read it.

I’ve ordered the book and it has been shipped off. So now I’m just looking forward to reading it!

I read a couple of pages of it and it was hilarious, if the whole book is like that I’ll read it in a day or two
