How I did it: I worked hard, did the research, saved the money, talked to the bldg. mgr regularly, and then got in there as fast as I could! :) It took me a really long time because I was never very financially responsible...but once I knew I was more ready than ever to be on my own in my own place, there was no stopping me. :) |

I found a modest two bedroom apartment, over 900 square feet, seven miles from my sons’ home.
I put a deposit and applied for a lease (they have to do a credit check) and I should be able to move starting Saturday.

a little cosy apartment for me… I rented different apartements when I was in france… I only liked one of them : My sweet Apartment in Place du Marché, La Rochelle. Now I’m back @My parent’s @Casablanca Morocco… this sucks!

Got a place all picked out, great location, right on the edge of my price range…trying to find a job in that area right now that will hopefully pay a bit more, but in the meantime I’ve just about got all the deposit cash I’d need saved up.

With the exception of a few things here and there (less than five), I’m officially moved into my apartment! I’m in it right now setting things up while listening to some jazz music! Fabulous!

I only have 3 more sleeps till I move into my apartment! I went over there with my boyfriend last night and it was completely empty and all dark because the electricity hasn’t been turned on yet. We ran into all the rooms pretending that we lived there already and rolled around in the empty rooms on the new carpet and talked about all the things we would save up for and what we are going to do to celebrate on Saturday night!! Wow!! Its going to be amazing!
