I’ve been lazy for far too long this summer.

One of my closest friends is on cross country and keeps bugging me to go running with them in the mornings.

While I’m not too keen on running eight miles every day, running sounds like a pretty good idea. We’ll see how it goes.

I just wanted to add that I don’t think I will go out running by myself. Have you noticed that all the chicks that get murdered, their boyfriends/husbands always say, “She went out running and that was the last time I saw her….” Nope not me.



Goal: lose at least 5 pounds in two months 4 months ago

I know when it comes to losing weight that I need to start small, especially since I’m only about 15 pounds over my ideal weight. My plan is to exercise every day. I’ve started walking again, aiming at walking 10 – 12 miles per week. I’ve also started using the Wii fit which is a lot of fun and motivational.

I used to exercise everyday..EVERY day. I was in great shape.. now the only shape I’m in is round :P I don’t know what happened? Or why I stopped, but I’m starting again. Dr’s today to get the ok and then I guess I’ll ease myself back into it..Hmm the exercising may even help distract me from the drinking..which I want to do less of MUCH much less!

I don’t know why it was such a huge deal for me to take the plunge and become a regular exerciser again. It is so great – my quality of life has improved dramatically – the Nike ad execs are right – just do it!



Finally joined the gym! 8 months ago

Went 3 times last week and it was fantastic! Don’t know why I stopped working out for 3 years! Exercise is great!!
