today i saw a book i do not have selling at ebay for half the price i usually pay for my books. they were used, slightly frayed. but i can live with that. i will bid for it. i hope i win it.

my toddler ripped the title page of the lazy sunday book.

the dinosaur book, he said, is broken.

i just found out that amazon is releasing the “complete calvin and hobbes”, a compendium (hardbound, three-volume) of all 17 c&h books at a gulp-inducing $94.50!
i would buy this in a heartbeat to satisfy the acquisitive side of me but i am also thinking, i’d rather have the 17 separate books. the original publications somehow seems more “true”.
i have his 5 books so far. so 12 more to go.

i love calvin and hobbes. that’s all there is to it.
