Since May ‘08 I have been an educational consultant. I promote and execute children’s literacy programs. We sell amazingly beautiful books at great prices. So I cannot fail, right? I never imagined how much work working for yourself is. I note that I am quite the procrastinator, not very neat, and probably should have taken a course in time management. Forget the budget. If I work in someone else’s office in future I will never ‘steal’ another stapler. Supplies are expensive! Overall, I love the extra time I’m able to spend with my son. As he grows into the person he will be, I grow. As he turns 2, then 3, then has his first day of school I want to be there as much as I can. That is why managing my own company has to work. I can do this.
