try ice skating

I went today and thanks to my husband’s help, I didn’t fall once. I got the feel for it, but am terrible at braking and still am somewhat wobbly on my balance. Oh, and I turned my ankles in too much, although I definitely wasn’t as bad as all the kids around me who were also trying it for the first time!
It’s something I’d definitely do again, as long as my husband was with me!

Let’s concentrate on the positive. I didn’t fall, I kept moving more or less in the direction I wanted, I didn’t get hurt. That’s about it.

I’m going to try to get there next year.

I’ll have to find out. I’ve never been ice skating.

I went out to see a movie last night, and I walked past an place that gives ice skating lessons. The people on the ice looked so fluid and beautiful… I must give this a shot. Think it would be nice to go for a quick skate after work.

It’s summer, I’m broke and dont know the area very well, maybe in the winter I can do this.
