versailles is planning my trip to the Highlands

in a few weeks i am going to the netherlands. i will visit family in south limburg and then work my way slowly north to amsterdam.
i’d like to spend more time outside of the city if possible and take advantage of the countless miles of bike paths in the countryside. while i am excited to see amsterdam, i crave seeing the beautiful windmills and canals of the south and north holland districts.
