join the red cross

My town’s red cross unity hasn’t responded any of my emails (it’s been quite a long time). Their website is all mysterious, the email adress is the only contact they share.
giving it up for now.. who knows..

but it’s also something I’ve been wanting to do in a long time. I’ve sent my town’s unity an email asking about the procedure to volunteer. Hope everything works well!

I taught first aid classes in elementary schools a while back. I’m now thinking about joining the local disaster action team. Probably not untill this summer though.

Tomorrow night with the Disaster Action Team! I’m so excited!

I have officially been accepted as a volunteer to the Red Cross!

I am so excited!

And I got my requests to be part of a Distaster Action Team and to help with shelters. It will take a lot of training to get where I want to be but none the less I am terribly excited!

I highly recommend that everyone that has a little time and desire to take action!

My interview is this Tuesday and my orientation is Wednesday!
