Finally went to Scoops today with two friends. It was much cheaper than I thought it would be. I only planned to try out one scoop, but my friends and I ended up sharing six scoops for only $5.75. We shared Strawberry Balsamic, Goat Cheese Rosemary, Banana Oreo, Peanut Butter Oreo, and two scoops of Brown Bread, all of which tasted pretty good. My favorite was the Strawberry Balsamic. The weirdest mix of the six was Goat Cheese Rosemary. My friends didn’t like it, but the unique taste appealed to me. I also sampled Black Sesame and Strawberry Vinegar. The former tasted like another ice cream flavor I’ve tasted before but couldn’t remember what and the latter left a strange taste in my mouth.

The service was great. They were patient and friendly as we tried to decide what to order. All of the flavors were either odd, unique, or both. We were told that most of the flavors are switched everyday. Scoops is worth the visit if you live in or visit LA. 4 years ago

My friend is going insane over some ice cream place I haven’t been to. Promised that we’d go soon. It has some really weird, unique flavors: Vanilla Jack Daniels, Banana Oreo, Strawberry Black Pepper, Mango Margarita, Goat Cheese Rosemary to name a few.
