How to organize my mp3 collection

How I did it: I made a New folder for each band, and put the bands songs in said folder. The other individual songs I just left in the My Music folder and made sure each song was named Artist Name - Song Title.mp3. How I did it: I basically downloaded iTunes, looked up songs and albums, manually changed them, downloaded soundcrank for the album art and lyrics and then consolidated my library, which means iTunes changed the name of the archives and puts them all in their correct folders. Read how I did it…

I have created itunes smart playlists looking for all albums acalled ‘album’, artists called ‘artists’ and tracks containing ‘track’. This is going to take ages.

i actually deleted a few hundred song off my computer. i’ve been trying to go through all the compilation cd’s i’ve downloaded first and then move on to going through individual artists.
RogerSteele is doing it, one day at a time.
