read "A Course in Miracles"

I have read Marianne Williamson’s A Return to Love and the book is based upon “A course in Miracles”. I first must purchase the book, so Goal 1: Purchase book online along with course materials

This book has been sitting on my book shelf for nearly a year now, so I need to get down to it!!!

I just started reading my Christmas gift “A Course in Miracles” and already I can tell I’m in for a real ride! Tonight I’ll enter the book again and see how it goes.

Well lets begin…

This section in the textbook doesn’t resonate much to me. I’ll read it again later this day…

Lesson 4 in the workbook does resonate. The lessons are familiar to me so far. Because they melt perfectly together with the Dharma, Buddha’s teachings.

“These thoughts do not mean anything. They are like the things I see in this room.”

“The body’s true holiness lies at the inner altar around which the structure is built.” (T2.III.1:8)

“I have given everything I see all the meaning that it has for me.”

Yesterday evening I reread chapter 1 of the textbook. This morning I started with chapter 2, section !, and I also started with the workbook, lesson 1.

After my morning zazen (sitting-in-meditation) I’ve read the rest of chapter 1.

“Spirit is in a state of grace forever.
Your reality is only spirit.
Therefore you are in a state of grace forever.”

(T1.III.5:4,5,6)

Yesterday evening I read chapter 1, section I of the textbook, which I repeated this morning. After that, I read section II.

26. Miracles represent freedom from fear. “Atoning” means “undoing.” The undoing of fear is an essential part of the Atonement value of miracles. (T1.I.26)
