I think this would be tough. But i feel simply smiling at a person genuinely or complementing them can itself make them feel good about themselves. I think I should learn to smile at others even when i am sad.

The other thing could be looking at the good things/ qualities in others. I tend to not like someone because i don’t like something about them. I should probably appreciate them for their qualities.

This goal is hard. There are so many beautiful people in my life. Maybe I should write nice notes. I think I will start there.

What actually would make this goal complete, but i’m to my 43 goal limit and have to make room for more so i’m going to mark this as done, even though i want to continue to do this.

I’m really not sure how to go about doing this and then knowing it has been achieved. Like you can’t say something to build someone up and be like, “hey, do you feel beautiful now?”

Or maybe
Me: Hey what’s up?
Beautiful Feeler: Nothing.
Me: You are so beautiful! Kbye!

There are so many people that don’t realize how beautiful they truly are but to just put it so simply seems as if it would limit the expression. I don’t know how to know if I have done this. Maybe I should just start telling everyone that I think is beautiful that they are beautiful… or maybe that would end up being really weird. I DON’T KNOW!

Looking at it from a different point of view, if someone approached me the way I have previously mentioned approaching others, that would make me feel really nice inside. I suppose I am just not creeped out easily then? I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING!

idea?! 1 year ago

here’s my thought… compliment someone every time you feel sad, lonely, ugly etc… that way they smile and in turn you do as well! :) plus it will get your mind off of your worry and onto making life a little bit brighter!

Bring on the Smiles 1 year ago

I was out for a little while yesterday [only the 2nd time this year], and found out that my fav shop had a huge sale on – 80% off. So, I did some unexpected Christmas shopping. I found a great cardi for myself, Ivory and “bumless”. Ok that maybe new to you – a bumless cardi stops at your lower back, but has two long front panels. An unusual style, but ideal for wheelchair users, because you don’t get chocked by sitting on the back of the cardi, but they are great bit long bits at the front to keep your legs warm – it’s a great design.
So, I went to get served, and the assistant was over heated, over worked and tried. So I told her my bumless cardi theory to cheer her up. Soon we were both screaming with laughter, and both modeling the cardi – which was really lovely on her – I told her so, and her eyes little up. We had a lot of fun, and both felt great after. It’s so nice to lift someone’s spirit.

I don’t really know how to do this.
Will spend some time contemplating various methods of beautifying others.
There’s always, “Hey! You’re beautiful!”
That might come across a littttle creepy and insincere.
The end.

It's easier than you think 1 year ago

Sounds sort of difficult at first, doesn’t it. Actually it’s really easy, and really rewarding.
So often we wander through our own lives, and don’t think much about the strangers who pass us by. They go unnoticed, and we rarely stop and wonder what pain or tragedy they are enduring.
A simple comment about someone’s lovely hair style, or pretty blouse, anything really, can put a glorious smile on a strangers face. And we really don’t know just how much that simple little compliment may have been needed at that time. But it certainly is lovely to see their faces light up with unexpected joy.
Anytime I’ve been lucky enough to receive an unexpected compliment, it has really lifted my spirits. But to be honest, it’s actually nicer to give the joy, than recieve it.
So be bold, and make someone feel beautiful and appreciated, and your gift will be seeing the sparkle in their eyes.

Life is all about Relations 1 year ago

People make you laugh, cry, sad, happy, and all you can do.. all alone.. we are just a spec !

So, if we are so much influenced by the people, so, lets follow the old saying – what you do to others, comes back to you !

So, why not cheer up people, make their lives better and create a better world for others and ourselves !
