learn to swallow pills without gagging

i have white spots on my face so i have to take this tiny pill, but its been bugging me!!! so what i do is :
1.drink some water
2. put pill in middle of throut
3.tilt head back (u may need to jiggle your haed a little)
4. try 2 swallow!!
it might take some practising on like a small piece of milk drenged cerel (like kix so u can get used to iit.

If you have a mouth full of food, and right before you swallow, you throw in a pill, you should have no problems. You won’t even know it’s there.

it use to be impossible for me to swallow a pill (even tiny ones) so my parents decided to ask my doctor (they didn’t ask until i actually started developing problems with swallowing food) and we found out that my esophagus was actually really swollen and irritated. so they made me learn to swallow these teeny tiny pills and they have worked wonders. i can eat a meal without feeling like i’m going to throw up half way through the meal and i can swallow any form of pill. most of the time not being able to swallow a pill is all in your mind, but sometimes it can be something serious.

ive always struggled but i started with travel sickness pills a while back and now its easy.

I have had trouble swallowing pills since I can remember. Crushing, splitting, mixing with juice or water. Nothing seemed to work, and I had a horrible gag reflex.

I liked the wintergreen. I am really happy I can swallow pills now, because I am so embarrased from asking if a medication comes in a liquid form. And when it does – oh my it tastes bad.

i got some pills. they are circular but not too small. AND I CAN SWALLOW THEM. the doctor lady told me to put them on the side of my tongue, and it WORKS! not sure if that’s the reason it works, or if they’re just small enough, of if i suddenly rock… hopefully i suddenly rock.

i don’t remember how, but one day i could just swallow them. it’s totally worth it…i remember once in high school (two years ago) i needed tylenol, and they had to go to the elementary school to get some i could take.

i had to take metrochlodanol or sum powder tab 4 a weke it was a bitch to do, i use ilk to wash em down sees to decay the tab less thna nethign else and yer try to od it fast without thinking i fit dont go down its a bitch to do nd t gets harder

but I finally got it when I was 17 and travelling around South America taking malaria tablets every day (vibramycin).

Back when I was 9 and had to take the old chloroquin in malaysia for malaria (which worked better at the time but the parasties have since developed resistance to so doesn’t work in some regions) I couldn’t swallow tablets. It is one of the most bitter things you can put in your mouth. My parents went to such great lengths to get me to take it. They crushed it up in vegemite, but it overpowered even that (which by the spoonful is pretty strong).

Then in south america i learnt to relax the muscles, and hold it there on my tongue till i was ready to swallow it, and it just happened. You just have to learn to let it happen and not resist.
