I’ve got a couple of years to go before the SAT but I want to do well so I can go to a good college and make my parents proud.
How to score over 2000 on the SATs
It made me 
"I took the SATs twice: once to feel out the test and a second time after getting special SAT tutoring in order to help my score. I got a 2100!"
How I did it: I took the SATs the first time the end of my sophomore year in high school, just to try it. I didn't do badly on it by any stretch of the imagination but I knew I could improve my score. I got a one-on-one tutor for the reading and writing sections and took a group class for the math section. Then I took the test again. My score vastly improved. I scored an 800 on the critical reading section after the tutoring!
Lessons & tips: See if your school offers SAT classes. They should be free or very low-cost. Take them. Mine were in the evenings, so your extracurricular activities shouldn't be an issue. (I was still able to do the spring musical this way.)
If you are related to or have a family friend who is a teacher, ask them for help. My uncle's friend was my one-on-one tutor. (This might also get you a discount on a normally not-cheap service.)
Go on collegeboard.com and have them send you the SAT question of the day in your email. If you get used to thinking about questions as if they are on the SAT, you will do much better.

I took the March 10th SAT’s, and I’m positive that I did terribly on the Critical Reading Section. The highest I’ve ever scored in that section was a 600. It’s the only thing that’s bringing my total score down a lot. How can I bring up my Reading score?

i took a practice sat exam and i scored around 1500 to 1600. i was very disappointed. i’m still going to aim for that 2000 but a 500 point increase is a big jump. =(

The classes are an absolute waste of time; I never took one. If you don’t do well at first, definitely try and try again. That is the best way to improve, I think. I got a 2340 my third time.
W: 800
CR: 800
M: 740
And I am quite content with that.

I thought I did SO bad during the test.
I honestly thought I was going to get lower than my previous.
I was expecting:
550 M
less than 500 CR
500 W
BUT.. I got:
690 M
670 CR
670 W (9 essay)
I’m so happy!

It was so close to 2000 but so far away.

I’m HOPING: (if all goes fantastic)
750 maths
600 CR
650 W – 10 or 11 essay
TOTAL: 2000
Predicting: (if all goes wrong)
680 maths
560 CR
590 W – 9 or 10 essay
TOTAL: 1830 haha worse than my previous
I hate the 4 hours! By section 7, I get all drousy :(

I took it on the june test date.
CR was incredibly harder than usual
Maths was a bit tricky
Writing mc easy, essay easy
Hopefully I got 2000+
I’m predicting
CR 680M 750W 750
Total: 2180 as my maximum.
PLEASE let it be over 2000+. I do not ever want to go back and sit for another 4 hrs.

I took the SATs on April 1st.
My scores were supposed to come out today but collegeboard postponed them by a week.
I got a 1900 on my PSATs and I took a practice test and got a 1955…so I keep improving.
Hopefully I improved some more for the real deal.
If not…I’m taking them again in June.
