develop an idea for an online business

Am setting up a domain name and server tonight. Figure it’s a pretty auspicious start to a new venture (08/08/08)

Started a part-time job in retail, and It’s really clarifying for me that I’m definitely someone that needs to be my own person. I can’t stand this feeling of legalised slavery, having to bite your tongue constantly and go against the voice in your heart that’s screaming that you’re better than this!

I’m starting a blog style music website that will earn money off indirect sources such as advertising, and I think I have a fighting chance. I’ve pretty much finalised the idea, but to mark this goal ‘done’ I want to draw up a vague hardcopy imagemap, page format syle, and figure out things like colourways.

I’m so excited about this, I know it will take some time for this to start earning enough money that I can live off it, but I’m confident if I throw everything I have at it, it will succeed. Wish me luck!
