    I didn’t lose any weight last week, but I didn’t gain any either. The doctor who wrote this diet said there would be plateau times. I’m not worried. I’m just going to stick to it and trust that the weight will go off eventually. My clothes feel a lot looser! I’m not down any size yet, but at least the size I am is a loose size and not a tight size.

    I feel confident about staying on the diet. Phase 1 wasn’t too hard, and I’ll probably be mainly on that with some Phase 2 foods added. I hope I can continue to lose 2 lbs. a week. Guess time will tell.

    Well, I’ll be sticking with it for at least the first week, because I only have South Beach type groceries in the fridge. Even if I fail to keep to the diet religiously, I’ve made some changes that I hope will be permanent.

    1. Wine instead of beer. Maltose is bad.

    2. Eggbeaters instead of eggs. Frittatas are delicious.

    3. Olive oil instead of butter.

    4. Avoid sugar, flour, and potatoes.

    I already lost 4 on the way to my total goal of 15 pounds. Now that Phase 1 is over, I think this will be easier to fit into my life.

    I have never been overweight more than 10 lbs but in 3 years I gained about 20 So I want to lose 30. The 20 I gained plus my original 10. I was discouraged at the beginning because I was expecting miracle weight loss which I knew is not good. I am on phase two and will stay on it until I lose the weight.

    This diet is dumb. I gained every single pound back a few days into the 2nd phase. I’m gonna have to just lose weight the regular way.
