I’m planning on completing my studies towards Nutrition, Exercise Science, Nursing, and Physical Therapy. It comes from a desire I’ve had since childhood. I enjoy the body and biological aesthetics—I’d rather understand what medical doctors and experts say, instead of asking to have some light shed on issues.
The first two studies will be completed (hopefully) by 2010, where I would also be entering graduated studies in Nutrition to obtain my title as Registered Dietitian (RD).
After that set is finished, I’m planning to attend Columbia University alongside a good friend, schooling towards a BS/MS degree in Nursing—specializing in Adult and Gerontology as a Nurse Practitioner (ANP/GNP).
I want to pursue Physical Therapy, either at NYU or elsewhere in New York, after a good three to five years of establishing work at a medical facility. I may work at a PT facility (I have already volunteered, as per my Associate’s degree in Biology [concentration in Occupational Therapy] dictated) to gain more experience before entering a BS/MS program. 3 years ago
