embrace change

about 43things… and I quite like it! ^^

I think that I can honestly say that I am doing this today, seeing as I just quit my uni degree. I am feeling good about it and am looking forward to the next stage of my life.

It’s in the nature of the universe, of existence itself, to change. To be constantly unfolding and moving on. Each moment is passing us by, and the sooner we realise this the sooner we are really free to live. Things change, things keep going forever and ever. Fighting change is like fighting nature itself. I’m not good with change; I never have been, but I’m trying to get better acquainted with it and not be so averse to it anymore.

I graduated high school almost 5 years ago, which is a crazy thought in itself. But anyway I tried the college thing right off the bat like most new grads and again like most grads made the wrong choice and had to hit the re-set button. From there I went to community college for 2 years, still working the whole time. For the last 6 months or so I have been in limbo just working. So while everyone else I know has graduated and is looking for a job I’m quitting mine and going back to school. I have never done the dorm thing or any of the other aspects of “college life”. So at 23 will be 24 I’m going for it. It should be interesting. I’m trying to welcome the change and challenges.

Well, while I wanted to move, other people are being forced to move; into my house. Guess it’s a good thing I didn’t sell. My joke is that Aidy is coming and she’s bring her parents with her, and that annoying baby brother too. Forced to embrace change big time, neh?

Not good with change… but change is the only certain thing in life, right? Gotta lighten up a bit.

I’ve learned that everything is in a constant state of change and that nothing is fixed and permanent especially life/me, I’ve learned that we are all riding this wave called change from one beach (birth) all the way across the ocean of experience to the other beach (death) and beyond. This very Universe of ours and everything therein is forever changing, I’ve learned that whether we like it or not we are all part of a constant relentless forward moving wave of change, or did I say that already. So bring on the wrinkles and walking sticks & let’s boogie onwards….......& change, Ch Ch Ch Changes.
