take a family photo

We had a really good time doing this. Our parents were delighted with the surprise gift. It’s a great win-win goal!

This is something that is actually progressing! We have chosen a possible setting, set up a time frame, and started looking into photographers.

I really need to get my brothers and sister together and take a family photo for my mom and dad. I will never get a picture of the whole family together since they divorced and aren’t really interested in socializing with each other, but I know they would each really appreciate a picture of all their kids (and their one grandchild) together. So perhaps this is something I can organize for Christmas and it will be a really sweet and thoughtful gift from all of us in a nice frame. Maybe I can even get my brother to get a haircut :D

Can you believe I have been married 8 years and have a 5 year old son and we still have not had our photo taken together?
Hmmmm… we better not go missing – how will anyone remember what we look like as a group?
