    I prefer powerpoint to merely lecturing without visuals or using the blackboard because I don’t have to turn my back to my students during class and I can include cool stuff like interactive demos… however, there’s one thing I’d like to change and I’m not sure how to do it, so I’m hoping someone can help me.

    First of all: I have NeoOffice (so I’m using the NeoOffice/ OpenOffice Presentation software to show my .ppt files), and I’m using Mac OS X “Tiger.”

    I have a number of slides with too much information on them—i.e., the slide comes up with five bullet points of information and students write them all down at once, focusing on the slide instead of my concurrent lecture. So, I’d like to format my slides so one bullet point appears at a time. Ideally, the title shows up, I ask a question and a few people answer, I show the first bullet which everyone writes down, then I ask another question, etc. I want the bits of information on the slide to appear with a click instead of all at once. How do I do that?
