I live in Costa Rica, and they finaly came to play here a month ago.
They didnt play much because it was on a music festival, but when they played the old songs, WOW!! Cherub Rock sounds amazing in concert

and I got to see them play in Columbus, OH. It was a great show.

bought the tickets today woo. they play next monday (31 march). i can’t wait.

I never planned to do this & got 2 tickets on the day of the show which was supposed to be sold out. They released a few tickets online & I perservered & got two.

It was an amazing show, very nostalgic. They played with the Queens of the Stone Age who I found quite dull but Smashing Pumpkins absolutely made up for it.

It was a nice long set with a lot of variety & I am super glad that I went~!

I’m still quite speechless about the whole thing, it was just so so so so so wonderful. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I was on top of the world there.
Still can’t believe that I really saw them. Oh I love them so much.

I’ll try to make a better post about it all later on, maybe when my thoughts are more sorted out. :D I’m also waiting for their site to put out the setlist for the show, I’m very curious to see it since I can’t remember anymore what exactly they played and in which order – I actually couldn’t have told you what they had played right after the concert, I was so out of it. Haha. But I do remember that they started with Porcelina and that they played Today and Tarantula back to back, at which point I thought my back might brake since I was jumping around like crazy. n___n ♥

Bwahahahaa. Interesting, to say the least. Crazy kids, those Pumpkins. ♥ (But those two old guys are kind of scary. :D)

I’m listening to Smashing Pumpkins nonstop now, as you probably can imagine. n___n (Btw, you can see what I’m listening to here – it doesn’t always scrobble my tracks but it gives you a general picture anyways.)

I need to have lots of money with me at the concert, too, Heikki and I are probably going to buy all the possible merchandises they have there. :DDD

No one can take that away from me. And if someone should try, they’d lose all of their limbs doing it. Seriously.

Not sure if I’ve mentioned it before, but their show in Helsinki is the last one on their tour. I hope they’ll make it extra special.
I’ve heard some sad rumours that their shows have been quite empty lately and that they have not played as long as they normally do ‘cos there has been too few people. :c That sucks. People should be swarming to these gigs! Hmph.
