he has stopped pulling on his lead! this wasn’t accomplished exactly how i intended, but nonetheless. :)

we worked on this again today. not so good. we take a few steps, i stop, he sits. we repeated this for 30 minutes.

He is the sweetest dog, but he pulls like a freight train on his leash. He is all muscle and can pull so hard from a dead stop that it will yank me off my feet. So here is what I began doing with him today: When there is any tension on the leash, just stop. Don’t take any steps. He seemed to be starting to understand what I wanted. But our walk which normally takes 20-30 minutes took an hour today.
