Where do I learn the operational procedures of a nightclub?
By working in one for at least 2-years! Many are under the silly impression that operating a nightclub is as simple as selling booze, counting the cash, or just dreaming up a great idea, but I assure you, it is not. In fact, this is the easy part. The real challenge in operating a nightclub is knowing where and how to navigate the ship, once you get out to sea. Similar to navigating a ship, one wrong turn into a storm, and you may end up at the bottom of that deep blue sea. Same rule applies to a nightclub -take one wrong turn and your ship is sunk. This is ‘NOT’ a learn as you go business, so make you’re mindful of this before venturing out.
