I’m definitely no pro, but I did mess around with the board finally. I’ve always been a “wheels” girl and tend to have decent balance while utilizing them. So, I can ride it, turn it, curve it, whatever … but definitely don’t know terms nor can I do the fun stuff. But hey, you can’t do everything the first day, right? Seems once I know how to do some tricks it’ll be decently fun. :)

The dang board’s sitting in the back of the Armada, STILL. We had plans three different days to go out and then just never got around to it. Friday, who knows what happened. Saturday we stayed longer at a wedding than we expected. Sunday was the last time we swore we would actually take it out. Well, instead we spent most of the day test driving cars as our run about car (not to replace my Armada though – GASP! hehe) and ended up at the Mazda dealership making a purchase of an economic – errand running – second car – Mazda3! But we still didn’t take the longboard out. Well, no more weddings or car purchases to hold us back this weekend.

Well the PBR board’s ours. Everyone needs a beer board. lol. Even more funny, you should see one of my five year olds ride it. She sits on it, lets our dog pull her, gets up some serious speed and can corner like no one’s business on it. Should have seen all the people in shock and awe at Shevlin last week!

It sounds as though a board will be blessing us with its presence in the near future. If I have the chance to learn something new – I’m gonna do it.

Stayed up until 5 AM, when it started to get light out, and then rode my board around the city with no destination. I only saw one car, and it was completely worth it.

Nice stuff, got a sweet ride but it’s not worth a whole lot to me now. I shattered three bones in my foot after taking a really nasty spill downhill. Do it, it’s amazing, but stay in your comfort zone!
