I get at least 2 hours of saxophone practice in outside of normal rehersals (which are Jazz for 1.5 hours each week, Band for 3.75 hours each week, lesson for .75 hours each week, plus a few extra things here and there). I spend a significant amount of time on the saxophone (at least 8 hours per week).

If you have read my other entries in other goals, you will know that I have a disease called reflex sympathetic dystrophy. What you don’t know is that inspite of that I was able to get through high school and college. I believe that one of the reasons I was able to get through high school was because of my sax. She got me through it, both in giving me something to do and giving me something that I was good at. My saxophone should not just sit there collecting dust, she deserves to be taken out and played every once and a while, so I will.
it’d probably help to be with other people who also want to make music … i’ve got an alto that i dink around with, its small enough to travel with me … and a contrabass that takes mucho, mucho wind but it shakes the floor …
