ask someone out

I’ve been single for quite a while.
Maybe it’s time to actually ask someone out.
Instead of being a lazy single, BLAH
Plus I need a giant load of self-confidence to make up for my negative self-confidence.
I put myself down so many times I gave up.
Not this time.
I will end this cycle.
I will find someone!
Starting next week…

Not all stories have to have a happy ending but I would still tell everyone to go for it! I got over my embarrassment fairly quickly and I still chat to him now, though sadly I haven’t completely gotten over my crush. It is such an adrenaline-fuelled rush, and I’m glad I can say that I did what men have been made to do since time (and hormones) began. It really is quite scary!

I so cheated.

I might end up totally cheating and asking someone totally safe. I haven’t decided yet.

I always seem to sit shy and quiet, wishing someone would ask me out, but it never happens. I got to thinking about it, and i never have gone up and started a conversation with a girl with the intention of getting a date. That might explain alot. I’m gonna find a backbone sometime and just try it.

I just think I should ask people out. Even my friends. I often go to cinema alone but I realize there’s nothing wrong in asking my friends out to be with me.

...actually it was very hard for me to do it as I was shy.

I met my wife when I was 22 while in college. I asked her out via email. :)

I guess I’d better make good on it! Now I just have to get over my debilitating fear of rejection. :( Might take me a while to work up to this one…

I took a chance and asked my very good guyfriend out on a date. Now 10 months later we are still together and happy. Take a chance. Its worth it.
