Since I stopped my karate training I’ve lost a lot of my flexibility. Now I feel I’m not worthy enough to wear my black belt if I can’t even kick properly. I need to sort out the flexibility in my hips. So, I must learn to do the splits (or get close to it). Then hopefully I will be confident enough to rejoin a karate club.

Well, I’m not very flexible and can’t even touch my toes.

So instead of just making my goal to become more flexible, which i can’t really brag about I want to be able to say “I can do the splits”.

Actually, 18 months ago I gave up. But, now I’m studying Chinese Wushu. So,I have no choice but to do the splits. I have some progress.

I’ve recently rekindled my determination to do this and have successfully found a wall to use to practice. Although the muscle behind my right knee is absolutely killing me. I wonder if I should talk to my doctor or something about it o.O

i was watching the olympics the other week and totally was in awe of the girls gymnastics…I WANT TO DO THAT…well not really…but wouldn’t it be cool to at least do some of that…or maybe just a little bit of that…maybe not…BUT i really do think i could at least do the splits! Ive always wanted to do it…i figure i could stretch every morning to get flexible enough to do it…
just knowing how very unflexible i am- i know that i have ALOT of work to do…we’ll seeeeeee
