Sell my college books

I just stood at buybacks instead of selling them online. Decided less money is better than none.
I haven’t sold any of my books, although I am maintaining listings for a few on Amazon.com. A few of them now have new editions out so the old editions that I have are going to be much harder (if not impossible) to sell, which sucks because they were some of my more expensive books. The best time to sell, I think, is when a new semester is starting and there is more demand.
Well I sold my textbooks from this semester (and luckily they took back all of them), but I still have a couple odd ones sitting around that the bookstore wouldn’t take back since they have come out with a new version. I could put them online to sell, but would it be worth it? I’m not sure if anyone would buy them since they are somewhat outdated.
I might just consider this goal done here, but I feel as if I half assed it.
I have a few in good condition that the bookstore did not want to take back. I should put these up online and see if they sell. I don’t remember the address of one of the more popular online places to buy/sell text books. Can someone help me out?
Gee I don’t get it!!! books can be expensive but when I go to buybacks they don’t give what was worth it err..hate it hate it but hopefully this semester I can sell some—it’s so sad that they in good condition to be waiting for a new owner to scribble on it. :0)
