compose a song

Ive wrote some lyrics .. you guys should check them out and comment them (:

Verse 1
The fire warms , my face and our hands.
I look up at you , your looking down.
I snuggle closer , the warmth growing.
The fire raging , our faces glowing.
Our tent lies cold , shadowed by the trees.
Its not where we are going to sleep.
The stars above us , the gentle breeze.
Huddled close , sat on our knees.
The fire beside us , as we play our guitars.
Tonight we will camp under the stars.

Pre-chorus.
Lets watch the heavens , together tonight.
Finally watch the sun rise , together till light.

Chorus.
Look at the sky , look at the clouds
The stars still hanging with the crowd.
Just hold me close , keep me warm.
as we talk together , in verse form.
focus the image , use the camera lense.
Capture this memory
we became more than friends.
My significant other.
Holding my hands.

Verse 2.
your arms wrap round me , you are my shelter.
Shelter from the rain , ive never felt better.
The fire fizzling , down to an amber.
The tent cast aside , we could always go under.
But instead we decide to stay where we are.
Because tonight we are under the stars.

Chorus.

Verse 3.
The clouds start to swirl in with my thoughts.
the stars dissapear , im staring at the wall. .
Today has come , i pack my things.
go to the drive , collect the keys.
Ride up to your house.
Opening to your house , there you are stood.
Sleeping bag ready ,guitar at the door.
Tent on the doorstep, backpack on the floor.
If only this week could turn out to be.
Exactly how it was in my dreams.
You me , the stars and the moon.
The fire , your shelter , us talking in tune.
I pick up your stuff as i pack the car.
Ilets forget the tent , well sleep under the stars.

About camping under the stars with a guy that i like as more than a friend , but then i realise its a dream. The camping day has come , and i set off to make this dream a reality.

I downloaded the software “Overture”. I started trying it out and putting random melodies into it. But since I’m not familiar with the usage it’s been quite trying to use it to compose. Also I find that it is very hard to move from one phrase to the next. Often I get a tune – not a whole one but a phrase – right before falling asleep. I find that it is my most creative time of the day. But I am always too lazy to get out of bed and manouveur my way through Overture to record the melody and so the next day I have lost it. Also I find my melody too stock. To familiar. It’s just uninspiring. Perhaps we should accept the fact that there are some things that are better left done by others.

and i always try to like just sing lyrics or make up lyrics or melodies when im walking to my friend khai’s house
but today was a good day and so i got this much of a song, and a melody, there was more but i never wrote it down

Well im nearly done with the song, not sure why im finishing it, but i am. I play it when i cant concenctrate, to pass time, and i still am not annoyed by what i have. thats good. lately ive been saying alot of incomplete thoughts, i have no idea why. so i think if i add to it right now, then it will sound incomplete, for lack of a better word.

Theres to many things to do,
its never (a) me and you
but thers no other, place i’d rather

and then its another verse,
but im still working on that, i have some stuff, just its not final, i am practically writing this to no one, as in the entry…this is lame.

Sometimes that I want to compose a song for the soundtrack of the movie instead.

Charitable organisation for which I worked held a big meeting at which songs were requested to point out the work we did in a way that would catch the attention. I was ‘volunteered’ for this task as no-one else was stepping forward.

For quickness I took well known tunes like nursery rhymes and changed the words to suit. Good practice before starting out to write anything of your own.

I never tried to write either lyrics or melodies commercially as this isn’t on my wishlist.

I do little rhyming stories for my friends and family.

I admire greatly those who can write proper lyrics or melodies.

i Love singing and iwould like to learn to compose songs beeter. although i can can do it but i want other ideas.

Hi everyone, i want to compose a song, but don’t know how to start it like, everytime i play a melody or sing, its usually on one of the common set of 2-3 beats. What should i do or learn for improving on this. How to usually progress in composing a song like playing a beat looped in pc and improvising on it then melody then chords or what, coz like this, it usually sounds loopy.
