Eat free-range/organically raised meat/eggs

We’ve been lucky enough to gain a hen – she appeared in the garden recently. She lays most days so we’re not short of eggs at the moment. We bought a couple of bantams to keep her company, but they aren’t laying yet (broody).

I have been buying only free-range eggs for a long time now, but because of cost/availability have not always been able to buy meat that has been raised in good conditions.

I have decided that since I eat very little meat (just chicken and pork and not on a daily basis) I should be able to afford to buy good stuff. 6 years ago
