live in my own house

Although it doesn’t totally feel like “home” yet, I am in my own house. Mine, all mine. Debt and all.

I love it.

OMG…. I’m thisclose to being able to check this off my list!

Holy shit, I put an offer on a house today. I’m terrified and excited.

Mom asked all the tough questions of “are you sure you can do this now?” and stuff. The trying to be supportive, but realistic mom questions.

I like it. I want it. But I’m practical, too. Or trying to be….

Looked at houses today. I think I may have found one. I’m so excited I want to throw up on everything.

I’m working on this.

Like talking to lenders and financiers and house people. And looking at houses. It’s so exciting! I cannot wait to check this one off the list!

... because the house we just moved into is actually not our own per se, but nevertheless, we are living on our own finally. And I must say that it is a refreshing experience and a pleasant surprise.

No more nags and criticism from in-laws. No more having to paste a permanent smile and pleasant demeanour from dawn till dusk till dawn. No more having to control your own movements and emotions just to avoid the criticism.

Now I am free. Free to do as I please, to feel as I please. :) To take care of my own family as I please. I must say it’s a liberating experience! :D

ok i will give you one fact..i counted the number of houses and apartments i lived in…to combine it all its a whopping 20 times (more or less) thats why i wanted to move to a house that even if i will move or travel i make sure that there is one place where i can live and relax and call my home after continuous travelling, if it will ever so happen that is. i miss my former house. its a crazy decision to sell it and settle for an apartment and how silly of me to agree with that decision. silly silly silly me. i have to be so freakin rich to build my own house you see coz i want it really big and spacy where the wind always comes in to refresh the mind and body..hah…i miss those days
