Well getting a Mac was definately a huge step in the right direction. Besides the fact that my enjoyment of and productivity with my computer has increased exponentially, Garageband is such a fun, easy, eye-canding pleasing way to create podcasts. And, for whatever reason, I’ve found that simple headset recordings sound much crisper.
I’m not quite ready to say I’ve accomplished this goal (not until I have a couple of really high quality high profile interviews), I have put out a few pretty good shows in the last few weeks and another interview should be ready in the next couple of days (check out to www.wonderosityshow.com if you want to give me some feedback.) So, woohoo to me. Unfortunately we used Gizmo Project for the interview, which records at 8k hz and then used Levelator to try and fix levels…sound if not so great. Oh well.
Given that my life has some other major priorities right now (like deciding my next vocational direction)—I’m doing the best I can.

I am a podcaster!! It’s so much fun, interviewing people, celebrities, most of our podcst are just recorded with m8s around a microphone.
