Make Monday ‘Book hire Day’ Take out two books from UNE or Castle Hill library every Monday and have them read by the rest of the week.
Search google lists for ‘best books’ and tick them off as I go
How I did it: I tried to always have another book to be read on hand while reading something. That way, I always had something to look forward to and made me want to finish my book as soon as possible in order to start the next one. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Instead of using my free time playing video games or surfing the web, I found an e-book series that hooked my attention to keep my mind busy while I was on the computer. Read how I did it…

I used to read books from morning till night. But T.V. had kept me from continuing with my passion for reading.
I have stopped watching t.v. completely, which is hard considering that I would average an incredible 40 plus hours of t.v. watching per week. I’m on day 1 1/2. Yay me!
I’m going to read Dreams From My Father, The Secret and re-read the Golden Compass this month. And well, we’ll see next month.
Reading is great, it increases vocabulary, improves spelling, and analytical skills. -I think, lol.

alyse1985 wants to stop trying to figure myself out, and just live my life
I tend to skip through books rather then read them all the way through. Except for books I had to read in school of course. But this year I’ve read two books all the way through. I’m still having trouble finding another one to read though. I’m much much too picky!

I find I am picky about what I read. I’m having trouble staying concentrated on my recent book. I really enjoyed reading Sybil. I’m looking for another book like that one. Perhaps I might just stick to the non fiction section of the book store from now on.

Getting through a novel list is so hard when you’re studying school texts as well! Can’t wait to finish my AS’s and get back into reading.
Today I began my quest to get back into reading, with as much enthusiasm as when I was young. Its not going particularly well, i am at work and hardly get a break.. I know that by the time I get home I just wont be bothered. So i guess its back to reading 8 pages on the train on the way home… sighhhh

I signed up for a library card last week.
I’ve got 4 books lined up for myself for the next month, and have already read 2 books within the last week and a half.
There is a great side effect to this goal; I haven’t wasted nearly as much time online as I used to.

I used to read all of the time, from romance novels to biographys. Im not sure what happen or why I stopped reading. I can not tell you the last time I actually picked up a book to just read for relaxation…

The past 10 days, I read every day, a few hours a day. Which is pretty good considering the only thing I used to read were chat windows! I finished three 800+ page books since I’ve made this goal, as well as finished a series that I’ve been dieing to read. Magazines don’t really count as “reading more” but having them laying around when you’re bored is a great habit to help you get used to reading more often. I am even all ready to visit the library today! Does anyone have any suggestions for some really great series?

HOW can you read more often??? if you read more often, then you have to read more often then that!
