Deciding on a career 2 months ago

I actually have a few entrusts, but while my peers where deciding on careers I was still playing video games and moving around the country once a year so I didn’t ever stop and think about the future. This again was my own fault but now that I have stopped and thought about it I really am not sure what I want to do I like to draw but lack the the skill to be professional which is the same with any career I might go for but this is just my problem rather then being a jack of all trades I want to be good at something good enough to get paid for it I’ve been working on Drawing, and Graphics design, and even some odd things all over the place my main goals would be to make a video game, movie, or book based on a world I’ve made up over the years I’ve spent gaming. Now if all this fails I can still work as a construction worker or something that I’ve been good at but not hugely entrusted in… but I want to work towards the possible three goals I’ve listed it’s just which one am I gonna do x.x

in need of career guidance. 7 months ago

i haven’t really decided on what i really wanted to do. i’m jealous of those who already has their mind set up on what to do and abides to it no matter what. i’m still lost and the most scary part of this is that i am going to graduate uni by the end of the year.

although i do have a job in mind. it is in the education sector but it isn’t what i would really want to do. i don’t know. i desperately need more career guidance in my life right now.

Veterinary vs. genetics 8 months ago

I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian since I was little. Recently, though(sophomore in high school) I have been looking into plant sciences. I’m really interested in genetics and like that it would be a job with fairly regular hours.

However, I live on a farm with livestock only and know very little about farming itself. I like working with animals and vetting our llamas, being squeamish is not a problem.

I’m not worried about grades or any particular classes, both careers seem made for me and I just can’t decide which one. I don’t know a whole lot about job oppurtunities in the plant sciences, but I’m starting to research. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Unsure, and only a year left of school! 10 months ago

I’m an undergrad with computer science major and finance minor. I’m not going to change any of that, but after being involved with a bunch of things these past months, my interests are: computers, business, finance, politics, and economics. I think I equally like everything. It would be nice to pick one and figure out my life…

What should I do? 12 months ago

I don’t know if college is the way for me anymore. So what am I working for? AND unlitmately what career do I get when my problems stop me from having anything worthwhile

What to do... 13 months ago

I currently am an assistant manager in the pet services field. My husband and I are moving soon, and I want to try something else in the new city. I just don’t know what… I would love to do something artsy. I used to work with stained glass and I think something that would be fun and fulfilling. But I worry about my recent physical limitations and wonder if that’s realistic. I also wonder if that can pay the bills. I guess we’ll see. :-)

Try the book “What Colour is Your Parachute?” – kind of a long process but it really works!
