I’ve always had a difficult time in relationships…not that I can’t be in a committed relationship, but just that I find it easy to be “involved” with more than one woman at a time…but when these feelings for multiple women start to encroach upon my “more-involved” relationship, I tend to retreat…and cut off the “extra-marital relationship”

I hope that by reading this book…which has been loaned to me by my sweetheart and current girlfriend…I can more easily make sense of my feelings on this topic. Last month, even though we are in a new relationship and are still testing the boundaries, I permitted her to go with a friend of hers (male) to a sex party. We talked beforehand about our fears, expectations and CLEAR boundaries for behavior. As only couples were invited, I could not attend. Her friend is married and is in an open relationship. His wife approved. Afterwards, we got together and she and I discussed her experience. She did not cross the line we established. I am interested in going to one of these events…with HIS wife.
I hope that by reading this book, I will more clearly understand the lifestyle and strengthen the relationships I hold dear.
It’s encouraging to find others who are interested in the same things I am, especially when it’s “unconventional.” 43things is a great support. Thanks everyone!

Its a very good sex positive book. I think everyone should read this book before they are sexually active!

This is a book worth reading if you are trying to decide how you feel about things but if you already have background in Poly, Bi, etc livestyles then it is somewhat basic.
Worth reading anyways

I finally got this book through Paperbackswap.com and I am about half through it. To tell you the truth I am not enjoying it as much as I thought I would but….. So far so good.

I highly recommend it.
