Some people have said scrap book…tons of pictures that I have taken throughout the years…
But as I thought more about it, I thought, my personal anthology, may just be my hands…Not that I preserve them ..for future memories..
But they held three babies, in sickness and in health…patted there backs when they were toddlers and unable to sleep…held their hand in mine thru countless nightmare, broken friendships, bad relationships, ....
They have done more than words ever could when, I had no words to say, over the death of a friend or of their grandfather….for my hands and arms embrassed them and held them close….as tears flowed….
They have been a source of tough love as well, giving that gentle push on the back…to encourage leaving the nest and following your own dreams…..
and stern, when I grabbed a hand tightly , right before a little someone ran out in front of a passing car..
My hands, have held new life
My hands, have held on to the hand, of loved ones that have left this life…
My hands have been held in the time of my own despair, my own happiness, by countless loved ones
So although, no one will ever see it..
My hands are my anthology
How to create a personal anthology
"I have not really accomplished this..."
How I did it: but I am putting it on the back burner for now..to make way for some New Years Resolution,,,,Tomorrow at midnight, starts a brand new year..
I hope, I meet some of my new goals here.......
and maybe once I do, I can add the old ones, that I did not acheive, back to my list
