go on date nights with my husband

Just wanted to add that date nights are great. We don’t have a specific night, but we try to do something together as much as we can. We’re going camping tonight!

I think date nights keep you closer in your marriage!

I put that it took 13 years, and that’s because we have been married for 13 years…......it’s an ongoing process!

It’s that I really don’t need to. My husband and I both work from home, we see each other virtually 24/7—I don’t really need to find some stranger to watch my kid so I can see him outside for 3 hours.

I miss him.

go on date nights without me???

Im new, so let me see how this works out, we have a daughter thats only 1 year and 2 months old, and its so difficult for us, just to have time for us, my mom usually takes care of my daughter (shes sick) so by the time we get home from our jobs, shes just so tired, and i cant tell her to take care of her after i get home.
But lets see, how we do this, at least one time a month.

Yes, we have had other dates. However, this is the first one since adding this to 43 Things.

• Dinner at Pepito’s
• Drove around Lake Calhoun and the suburbs looking at Christmas lights

Every Monday night. Even once dance lessons stopped. DH is often the one who points out “It’s Monday! Let’s do something!” So, I am counting this as done.

that I went on a date the weekend before my birthday (about 5 weeks ago.) Still that feels like a long time.
